This weekends binge (I kinda cheated...since I have been watching this show all season) but I finished this weekend, since the finale aired last week, was The Sinner starring Jessica Biel. I thoroughly enjoyed this show, one of the last episodes I was literally on the edge of my seat with my mouth open in shock. Some of it was disturbing and rather uncomfortable (but I’m pretty sure that is the feeling the show was going for). USA has put several series that I really enjoy so hopefully you are not sleeping on them! If you haven't watched and you are looking for something to watch...The Sinner is a great option. Have you seen it? What did you think?

This weekends other binge...which technically spilled into Monday (had that final pesky last episode to watch).
8 episodes in season 1 (Season 2 currently airing in the UK) 46ish min each. I love period pieces and have been wanting to watch this show since it came out. Plus PBS was smart to offer a show in this gaping hole left by the ending of Downton Abbey.
The show starts with Queen Victoria's rise to Queen after the death of her uncle. This season focused on her love life (of course) and her struggle to understand her place as a young, small Queen.
I, of course enjoyed the series and would recommend it, if you are into period pieces or you are into the monarchy. Currently all episodes of the PBS show are available on AmazonVideo which is included in Amazon Prime.
Have you seen this show, did you enjoy it? Are you excited about season 2 (which airs in the U.S. early 2018)?

This weekends binge...Netflix Original American Vandal.
There are 8, 26-42min episodes documenting a vandalism that takes place at Hanover High School staff and faculty parking lot. School prankster Dylan Maxwell is blamed and punished for the crime while Peter Maldonado of the schools tv news decides to dig deeper.
It made me laugh, it is light hearted but many of character portrayals seemed accurate. It also hit a serious note regarding our biases and how those opinions we have when voiced and acted upon can negatively impact others.
Have you heard of it? Have you watched it? What did you think?
