Out of 21 nominees  and 11 shows I have seen 6 shows (in their entirety).  How did you do?  After the winners list I have a list of recommendations, and I am also asking for recommendations from you!

I believe ALL shows in the drama series are worth watching if you haven’t…I have seen them all…except House of Cards…I have not watched the most current season.

In this category I have only seen Atlanta, Black-ish, Modern Family and a portion of Master of None…oh wait and a portion of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.  The latter two I didn’t dislike, but I didn’t find anything in them that made me feel like I must finish the series.  If you have not seen Atlanta, you should check it out, I enjoyed the entire season and found the black Justin Bieber episode very interested take.

I have not seen the entire series/season of any of these nominees, closest would be Black-ish, I am missing several episodes from this last season but I’ve seen at least half.  I have seen a couple of episodes for the Netflix Original Grace and Frankie, which I thought was funny.  Anyone have any recommendations from this list?

I have only watched half of the shows in this category.  How about you, any recommendations?  Of course I have seen many of the recent episodes of Saturday Night Live and find them quite entertaining.  I think I may need to finally break down and watch Veep!?

If you have not seen Transparent or last seasons Saturday Night Live, please check them out.  Transparent is VERY progressive and there are many actors and actresses out there fighting for rolls that do not put them in a box, this show has many transgender actors/actresses even though the main character is not.

Big Little Lies…great show and great mix of actresses and produced by women, including Reese Witherspoon   I’ve seen American Crime, this was first season that I actually watched, this is another show trying to shed light into areas of darkness in our society.

I’m old I don’t stay up late enough to watch these shows, but thanks to YouTube, I do catch quite a few and shows like Jimmy Kimmel Live, James Corden and Stephen Colbert have been on fire this past season.
